Empowering Teens, Creating Real Change
SAGE competitions empower teenage entrepreneurs to create businesses that tackle urgent social and environmental issues. Whether local, national, or international — participants are evaluated on their ability to make a real impact.
How Teams Are Judged
Competitors are evaluated by panels of industry experts on five key criteria.
Business Model
Is the business viable, scalable, and financially sound?
Social Impact
Does the business address a real social or environmental challenge?
Innovation
How creative and original is the business concept and solution?
Sustainability
Can the business sustain itself and its impact long-term?
Presentation Quality
How effectively does the team communicate their vision and results?
From Local Businesses to Global Recognition
Entrepreneurial Beginnings
Teens develop business solutions within their schools, clubs, or communities. They work with teachers, business leaders, and mentors to refine their ideas and prepare for competition.
National Stage
Teams present their businesses at the UK National Competition, representing their communities and showcasing the growth of their ventures. This stage is an opportunity to gain recognition and develop strategies.
SAGE World Cup
The top teams are invited to the annual SAGE World Cup. This global event allows students to present on an international stage, connect with industry leaders, and network with fellow teen entrepreneurs from 30+ countries.
